Glenn happens to be a real nice guy....We have known him for a while....And he's like most of our guys....He has a real good sense of humor. Beautiful summer morning here....The only thing missing is a good joke to help us wake up. Jim to the rescue! Thanks Jim!
After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply for
Social Security. The woman behind the counter asked me for
my driver's license to verify my age. I looked in my pockets and
realized I had left my wallet at home.
I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home
and come back later. The woman said, 'Unbutton your shirt'.
So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair.
She said, 'That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me'
and she processed my Social Security application.
When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the
Social Security office.
She said, 'You should have dropped your pants. You might have gotten
disability, too' And then the fight started.....
Poor Guy! ;-0

We had a Great Weekend here! Our Good Friend....Our English mate Rob....One of our favorite English members....Was here for the weekend! OK....European Football Season has started....American Football starts soon....And let me say here....the Cleveland Browns haven't been stellar in pre-season....Anyway....Rob and Brett have sent their reports concerning Manchester City and Arsenal.

We have rain here in Akron Ohio this morning....Remnants of Hurricane Fay. We hope Hurricane Gustav doesn't cause much trouble down in the Gulf Of Mexico. Those people down around the New Orleans area have had enough....

Grandma's Boyfriend:
A 5-year-old boy went to visit his grandmother one day. Playing with his toys in her bedroom while grandma was dusting, he looked up and said, 'Grandma, how come you don't have a boyfriend now that Grandpa went to heaven?' Grandma replied, 'Honey, my TV is my boyfriend. I can sit in my bedroom and watch it all day long. The religious programs make me feel good and the comedies make me laugh. I'm happy with my TV as my boyfriend.' Grandma turned on the TV, and the reception was terrible. She started adjusting the knobs, trying to get the picture in focus. Frustrated, she started hitting the backside of the TV hoping to fix the problem. The little boy heard the doorbell ring, so he hurried to open the door and there stood Grandma's minister. The minister said, 'Hello son, is your Grandma home?' The little boy replied, 'Yeah, she's in the bedroom bangin' her boyfriend.
