We hope you had a nice weekend! We did here....One of our new members, Fred was here with us on Saturday....we had a nice time getting to know each other. Thanks for making the trip here Fred....Great to meet you in person!
Now about sports for a minute....OK, I get it....The Cleveland Browns have two teams....The Junior Varsity, or "JV"....And the first stringers. They alternate from week to week, yesterday the first stringers beat the Baltimore Ravens, the week before the "JV" team lost to the Raiders.....Actually, all kidding aside, the Raiders are look'in good lately....I wonder which team plays next week? You never know for sure. Anyway....Congrats to the Browns....
Our good Bud Rob, our English teammate around here for Football European and American style sent us this note. We pull for City....Rob is our support for the Browns....

We have a beautiful Fall morning here again in Akron Ohio....Nice to sit out and have our coffee & tea. Tonight the Yankees are here in Cleveland to start the post season against the Indians....That could be exciting. Fall is a nice time of year. We're hoping winter will be nice & easy....Not too much snow....
If not....We could see if one of our good friends Down Under would be willing to put us up for 6 months. They're just into Spring Down Under....Works for us. Let's see....House-guests for 6 months....How about that idea Dave & Irina. ;-)

So we were out last evening driving around and noticed lots of bars in the area were real busy. OK, the Indians/Yankees game was on TV....As we came to realize when we got home, the game wasn't on regular cable. We guess you need that sports pay channel....That explains all those people at the bars. Anyway, come to find out this morning the score was real good for the Indians....12/3....CONGRATS INDIANS!
We were on our way to the lakes to visit with our friends Wally and his wife Walina....Our Duck friends that like to hang-around at our favorite lakeside cafe....They don't like salad, they prefer onion rings and fries....Ducks with good taste?....Here's a few pics:

We had a Damn Fine Weekend here....Hope you did too!
Our Browns lost to New England....Not a big surprise there but at least they didn't embarrass themselves. The Yanks took the Indians last night....That is turning out to be an interesting contest....And it's warm here like August.
We were at the store this morning....I was outside doing my guy thing....Watching the people go by....Just what I needed....mostly fat-ass American "women" parading into the store. I wonder....What their husbands are thinking when they come home to that every night. Can't be pleasant....Quiet desperation I suppose....

It's Friday already? Baseball here in the USA is going strong with the games winding down to the World Series. The Cleveland Indians are at Boston starting tonight. OK....picking sides here....Forgive us but....Go Indians! ;-)

Man....our sympathies go out to all those folks who lost their homes in Southern California. We hope they can get those fires out quick. We noticed on the news the National Guard Troops are arriving....we hope they will be able to help the Fire-Fighters. Those people must be exhausted by now.
We want to welcome Jim to the group today! Jim lives a few hours west of us....He happens to be a real nice guy....which is something we appreciate in all our members. We have gotten to know each other over the phone....We're looking forward to our getting to know each other much better as we work together.
It's interesting how our group attracts the real nice guys....We are grateful for that. Anyway....

We hope you had a nice weekend! We did here....Beautiful Fall weather. We had all our little Ghosts & Gobblins running around here on Friday night....Lots of fun!
Well....On the Sports note....Our Bud Rob in England had Manchester City taking a loss to Chelsea....But Manchester is 3rd of 92....So not bad at all Bud! Our Browns took the Rams 27-20....Hey Rob....You need to send us those pics! :-)
We have a new friend we've been getting to know....Jim sent us something to think about as we're chuckling this morning. If you ever make the mistake of cheating on your better-half....Do be careful. The consequences can be nasty....Thanks Jim! ;-)
