On Saturday, Arsenal scraped a undeserved 1-1 draw with the equaliser coming from the last kick of the game! The point gained means Arsenal stay on top of the league, but now only by one point! It is all shaping up to be the closest and most exciting season in the Premiership ever! Next match at Milan on Tuesday evening, it will be a monumental occasion, two of the greatest teams in the world playing for a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. To be honest, Arsenal will have to perform a lot better than they did on Saturday if they want to win.
By the way, here’s a joke (which in all fairness, has some truth!)
Only in America and especially United Kingdom......do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.
It has lots of truth Brett! :-) "Bloodsucking Creatures." Is Right!

We have some nasty ice all over the place today....This is a great day to stay home!

Our good Bud Rob....Who happens to be a Manchester City fan....Is out of the hospital! We hope you're feeling better Rob! Here's his Across-The-Pond-Sports-Report....
One last thing.... City drew on Saturday 0-0 with Wigan, we're still 8th which for us is ok !! But we've not been playing well for a month. Still never mind.... Also this year I've missed 5 games now!! For me that's a hell of a lot! I'd only missed 3 games since I was 8 years old. I'll be the big 40 soon.... Hopefully I'll get back to not missing any soon! :-)

We had quite an ice-storm here last night....Getting around this morning was not fun at all. We heard that 20,000 homes just North of us were without power today....We Lucked-Out on that. We are really looking forward to some warm weather around here.

Awesome Arsenal underline their credentials in a stunning 2-0 win at Milan. Arsenal become the first English team in history to win (against Milan) at the San Siro. A breathtaking performance that left journalists stunned by the quality of the young Gunners (Arsenal’s nickname), and also played in the spirit of how the game should be played. One for the purists.
The draw for the Quarters is next week, expect another tough draw, as there are only good teams left over!

We had a nice time digging out of our over 2 feet of snow....According to the Weather Channel....what we had was an "Event"....Biggest storm in 30 years.
Let's see....The first day of Spring....Officially....is March 21....Which also happens to be Good Friday. We are really looking forward to Spring....

Little Johnny attended a horse auction with his father. He watched as his father moved from horse to horse, running his hands up and down the horse's legs and rump, and chest.

We were out playing around yesterday with the Video Cam....So we produced this Meet Russian Women Video. The story of how to try to talk your Russian Woman, my Nina in this case....into moving to Key West! Like....Catch her right after she's done shoveling 3 feet of snow from the driveway. That's a good time to Float-The-Idea....I have found. ;-)
Well....No moving to Key-West....My idea didn't work....But the good news is....The snow is melting.

We woke up to a Beautiful morning here in Akron Ohio! The sun is finally visible....Perhaps we'll melt some of our snow today.
Our Good Bud Rob is out of the hospital and feeling Great....We are Very Happy to hear....Here's his Across-The-Pond-Sports-Report....Thanks Rob! :-)
2nd is all teams have a youth policy and City are now again in the f.a youth cup final this is our 3rd final in 4 years and we've won one out of two up to now .... We're hoping to make it two outa three....We have the best youth policy in the whole of England and we produce some great talent that go on to play for the first team and also England ....
Well that's my news for now. I hope you and Nina had a great day on Saturday !!
Blackpool went really well, it was good to be with a good Bud and have a really good time.

Rob is a Manchester City Fan....If not The Manchester City Fan....:-) Anyway....If you're a fight fan you know another huge Manchester City Fan....Happens to be Ricky Hatton....The famous Boxer from Manchester. Hatton's next fight happens to be at the Manchester City Stadium....Rob and the men in his family will all be there in person to watch the fight. Rob sent us the poster. Thanks Rob! That will be quite a night for you guys! Nina and I have seen a couple of Hatton's fights on HBO....He's damn good, and he's an interesting young man.

Arsenal could only manage a draw in their last two league matches, which saw them surrender their position at the top of the table. However, there is still some way to go yet, so still plenty to play for (but getting a bit pessimistic these days, we could be running out of steam L)
We hope Arsenal gets back to their Winning Ways Brett!
And from Rob concerning Manchester City....
City came from behind to win against the Spurs from London today 2-1. It's about time we had a win ... Seems a long time since the win at Man UTD :-)
Like I said Bud...It was a surprise, we had the new stadium for 5 years and they beat us in it every year until today....

We have our typical March rains now for the next couple days....Better than our possible March snow! You never know what the weather will be doing here in March....

Now....On the subject of Beautiful....We have a very nice new friend....A Man who lives in a Beautiful small Seaside town in Portugal who will be joining our group next month. He was kind enough to share some of his photos with us....Stunning little town where he lives. Thanks for sharing with us Bud! :-) We did ask him if he wanted to adopt two....Slightly older....kids. ;-)

We've got our rainy Wednesday morning here in Akron Ohio....Beats snow! Our snow-piles are actually disappearing!

$7 Sex:
A Florida couple, both well into their 80's, go to a sex therapist's office.
The doctor asks, "What can I do for you?"
The man says, "Will you watch us have sexual intercourse?"
The doctor raises both eyebrows, but he is so amazed that such an elderly couple is asking for sexual advice that he agrees. When the couple finishes, the doctor says, "There's absolutely nothing wrong with the way you have intercourse."
He thanks them for coming, he wishes them good luck, he charges them $50 and he says good bye.
The next week, the couple returns and asks the sex therapist to watch again. The sex therapist is a bit puzzled, but agrees.
This happens several weeks in a row.
The couple makes an appointment, has intercourse with no problems, pays the doctor, then leave.
Finally, after 3 months of this routine, the doctor says, "I'm sorry, but I have to ask. Just what are you trying to find out?"
The man says, "We're not trying to find out anything.
She's married and we can't go to her house. I'm married and we can't go to my house. The Holiday Inn charges $98.
The Hilton charges $139.
We do it here for $50, and I get $43 back from Medicare.

We got tons of rain last night....Some Thunder....No Snow here this morning! Great news for us people who are having Halucinations of Spring....It's also Friday! Double Good News!
Now....We're not the only people having Halucinations of Spring. Jim lives in Michigan....He sent us something interesting. Thanks Jim....
An Ice wave from the floor of Lake Huron near Mackinaw Island.....
Michigan has had the coldest winter in decades. Water expands to freeze, and at Mackinaw City the water in Lake Huron below the surface ice was supercooled. It expanded to break through the surface ice and froze into this incredible wave.
I've seen pictures of this wave phenomena in Antarctica, but in Michigan? Yes, it's been quite a winter!
How about that for strange!

Arsenal managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat! Losing 2-0 at half-time and a man down, Arsenal used all their tenacity and character to recover from a seemingly impossible position to win 3-2. First league win in 6 games. Feeling much better now!
