We've got a beautiful morning here in Akron, Ohio. It will be around 80 degrees, we haven't seen a day like that in a while.

Homer, a handsome dude, walked into a sports bar around 9:58 PM. He sat down next to this blonde at the bar and stared up at the TV. The10:00 news was on. The news crew was covering a story of a man on a ledge of a large building preparing to jump.
Just as the blonde placed her money on the bar, the guy did a swan dive off of the building, falling to his death.
Homer replied, "I can't take your money, I saw this earlier on the 5 o'clock news and knew he would jump."
There's nothing like a nice "blonde joke" to get the day rolling in the right direction.

We woke up to yet another beautiful morning here in Akron, Ohio. Two in a row? In Akron?
We have a few things going on here this morning.
First....Jeff & Olga got their visa, they'll soon be together in Wales. We're looking forward to our Chippy Club Party here sometime in December. So.....

We also want to welcome Pierpaolo to the group today! Pierpaolo lives in Bologna, Italy....and of course he happens to be a nice guy. Nina and I have never traveled to Italy, but our son has. He took a trip over to Italy a few years ago....visiting Rome, Venice, Bologna, and he also spent some time in Vatican City. He has told us that Italy is one of the most beautiful places imaginable, and what's really cool is the people are very friendly......which we can attest to!

Any port-in-the-storm.....
It's early....Nina and I were just sitting outside having coffee for me, tea for Nina, and we hear this commotion. Our squirrel buddy "Rocky" was chasing his girlfriend "Wanda" up our next door neighbor's house, and I mean they were going up a 90 degree angle hanging-on to the aluminum siding on the house. How those squirrels can do that is amazing......but this is too much. It seems Rocky was in the mood for "love", this being spring and all.....so Rocky catches Wanda right on the 90 degree wall and has his way with her. Imagine if you will, Wanda hanging-on for dear life and our Buddy Rocky having a wonderful time right "behind" Wanda.....
What a way to start the day! Way to go Rocky! Wanda did a good job of hanging-on to the aluminum for about 20 seconds or so.....Just enough time for Rocky to finish-up what he was doing....Well, it's a good thing Rocky's a "fast-mover."
We imagine the sounds going into our neigfhbor's house were interesting....to say the least. :-)
Many of our male members are into classic cars, and a few are into classic airplanes....
Our Bud Chris sent us these great shots of a Fokker D-7....He works with airplanes and gets to see some great sights....Thanks for sharing these with us Chris!

We got a late start here today.....We kinda over-slept.
Mark & Olga sent us a funny boob-movie with a funny song.....BTW thanks Mark & Olga....which got me to thinking....which is usually dangerous anyway....just ask Nina about that.....
Anyway, have any of you guys out there ever wondered what would happen if you got a flat tire out in the middle of nowhere....and you forgot to get that spare fixed....so you ask your lady to "inflate" the tire as a temporary fix? These are the type questions that keep me awake at night.....pondering.....OH....the possibilities.....which brings us to one possible problem.....

It's one Helluva fine morning here in Akron, hope you're having a nice morning too.
A few tid-bits to share today:
Clint & Maryna got back from their celebrations in Vegas, they had a blast. They'll send some photos and we'll post 'em here. Way to go guys! Glad to hear some people can get back home with their "shirts still on" from that town! :-)
Many of our male members share similar interests in life, which we think is way cool. For example, lots of our guys enjoy gardening, motorcycles, classic cars, racing of all types, and aviation.....to name a few. Chris happens to work in aviation, you saw a few of his photos a few days ago, and here's something interesting. Here's a couple early WWII Russian Yaks:

We hope you're having a nice weekend! We were speaking on the phone with David yesterday, and our suspicions were correct. He's one Damn nice guy! Nice speaking with you mate!
Yesterday when we said here in the Newsletter.... "Many of our male members share similar interests in life, which we think is way cool. For example, lots of our guys enjoy gardening, motorcycles, classic cars, racing of all types, and aviation.....to name a few"......
A few of our guys were laughing because we added gardening with these....let's say more active....hobbies of some of our members. OK, Nina and I admit.....We are less "adventursome" shall we say then some of our members. It's OK tho....All us have our little differences, which makes life that much more interesting. For you guys who enjoy kicking back with a couple of "brewskies".....Here's our contribution to the cause of ....let's call it "professional relaxation." :-)

And one more bit of news today: Ed will be on the plane to Belarus tomorrow to spend some time with his Natasha and her family. Hey Ed! Have a great trip, and please give Natasha a HUGE HUG for us Bud!

We've got a rainy morning here in Akron today, Mark R. to the rescue with a joke. Thanks Bud! Every once in a while you come up with a good one! :-)
A blonde wanted to earn extra money, so she hired herself out as a "handy-woman" and started canvassing a rich neighborhood.
Arriving at the first house, she asked the owner if he had any odd jobs for her to do.
"I could use somebody to paint my porch," the owner said. “What would you charge?”
"How about $50?"
“You got a deal,” the owner said. “There’s paint and everything else in the garage.”
The owner’s wife overheard this conversation, and asked her husband, "Does she realize that our porch goes all the way around the house?"
“Of course,” the man said. “It’s obvious when you stand out there.”
Soon the blonde came to the door to collect her money.
"You finished already?" the owner asked.
"Yes," the blonde replied, "and I had paint left over, so I gave it two coats!"
Impressed, the man handed over the 50 dollars.
"And by the way," the blonde added, "it's not a Porch, it's a Lexus!!!"

We have a rainy, but nice morning here again in Akron. The heat-wave we had is gone. And.....Mark & Olga sent us this joke. Thanks guys!

same stuff ~grass. Yet the deer excretes little pellets, the cow
turns out a flat patty, and the horse produces muffins of dried
poop. Why do suppose that is?"
The guy is dumbfounded. Finally he replies, "I haven't the slightest
idea."
"So tell me," says the blonde, "How is it that you feel qualified to
discuss nuclear power, when you don't know shit?"
How would you like to be sitting next to her?
This is one of those mornings where Nina and I need lots more coffee and tea to wake up. Must be the rain.

Our good friend and member Jim was here for a visit before his trip to Vitebsk in August to be with his Ludmila. We had a great time together......Well, why should we Bull-Shit about it when we can show you the photos.....
Jim mentioned we solved some world problem here.....But we can't remember exactly what the Hell it was!

Jim brought-up a nifty Russian language program.....He's getting good at Russian! We're impressed!

Another beautiful morning here in Akron....We just love this weather.
We celebrated a birthday in our family recently, and Paul sent us a joke that fits-in perfectly. :-) Thanks Paul!
As we age, our priorities change . The other day I came home and was greeted by my wife, dressed only in very sexy underwear and holding a couple of short velvet ropes.
"Tie me up," she purred, "and you can do anything you want."
So, I tied her up and went golfing.
OK, so I'm turning into a gieser! :-)
Tom will be traveling back to Vitebsk tomorrow to be with his Elena and take care of their paperwork. Tom & Elena also miss each other too much since their time together, and man, do Nina and I remember those days. Hey Tom! Have a great trip Bud, and please give Elena a BIG HUG for us!
