We didn't party too much last night....We did manage to stay up late enough to see the ball drop in Times Square. We figured we had a 1 in 5 chance of making it till midnight....We did it! We're a couple party-poopers around here sometimes. ;-)

They were interviewing a few people in the crowd like they do every year....Many of those people had been standing around Times Square since 11:00 that morning to get a good spot! Those people take their New Year celebrating seriously!

Strange typing 2008, it will take a while to get used to that. We have blowing snow and cold this morning....January is here.

Our Across-The-Pond-Sports-Club result from Rob you ask? Here it is:

Sounds good to us Bud....Thanks for the update! Our Browns players of course are busy buying their new Huge-Screen TV's....Getting ready to watch the playoffs....

We do want to welcome Robert to the group this morning! We have been on the phone and have started to get to know each other....Real nice guy! Robert lives up in the Northern....More Frozen part of the country....Snow-Mobiles, Cross Country Skiing....He is another of our male members who has some cool ways to spend his free time. He also has an interesting career! So....

It's Friday! Still feels like Siberia here....But we will have a nice warm-up for next week.

Our Across-The-Pond-Sports-Report-Update from our Bud Rob:

City won again yesterday away this time at Newcastle United 2-0. Thats got us back in 4th, its our best season since 1968 the year I was born we won the league !!! Were not good enough to win it but the top 6 would be amazing!!!!

 

Manchester City is Rock'in & Roll'in!

Our Bud Jim sent us this funny....To help us get into the weekend-frame-of-mind. Thanks Jim!

The year is 2222 and Mike and Maureen land on Mars after accumulating enough frequent flier miles. They meet a Martian couple and are talking about all sorts of things. Mike asks if Mars has a stock market, if they have laptop computers, how they make money, etc. Finally, Maureen brings up the subject of sex.
"Just how do you guys do it?" asks Maureen.
The Martian responds, "Pretty much the way you do."
A discussion ensues and finally the couples decide to swap partners for the night and experience one another. Maureen and the male Martian go off to a bedroom where the Martian strips. He's got only a teeny, weenie member-about half an inch long and just a quarter inch thick.
"I don't think this is going to work," says Maureen.
"Why?" he asks, "What's the matter?"
"Well," she replies, "It's just not long enough to reach me!"
"No problem," he says, and proceeds to slap his forehead with his palm. With each slap of his forehead, his member grows until it's quite impressively long.
"Well," she says, "That's quite impressive, but it is still narrow."
"No problem," he says, and starts pulling his ears. With each pull, his member grows wider and wider until the entire measurement is extremely exciting to the woman.
"Wow!" she exclaims, as they fell into bed and made mad, passionate love.

The next day the couples rejoin their normal partners and go their separate ways.
As they walk along, Mike asks "Well, was it any good?"
"I hate to say it," says Maureen, "but it was pretty wonderful. How about you?"
"It was horrible," he replies, "all I got was a headache. . .she kept slapping my forehead and pulling my ears!!"

He has an interesting career, and he's the type guy who has a nice sense of humor. We really appreciate that in our guys! Alan lives in the Eastern Shore area of the USA....Real nice part of the country. So....

revealing the tiniest 'willie' the doctor had ever seen. It wasn't any

 bigger than a triple A battery.

 Unable to control himself, the doctor started giggling, then fell to

 the floor laughing hysterically Ten minutes later he was able to

 struggle to his feet and regain his composure.

 'I'm so sorry,' he said. 'I really am. I don't know what came over

 me. On my honor as a doctor and a gentleman, I promise it won't happen

again. Now, what seems to be the problem?'

 

 **'It's swollen,' the man replied.**

We've had Spring here for the last few days....Looks like that might be ending. Too bad.

We have some of our early Spring plants trying to pop-out of the ground....We think they had better wait a while.

Ramon happens to be yet another nice guy....We are beginning the process of getting to know each other, and already we like his sense of humor! Ramon has quite an interesting career....He does something that gets into the themes of many a movie! Very interesting indeed! Ramon lives in Spain, we are looking forward to our getting to know each other better and our working together. So....

John lives out in the Mid-West, he understands about winter storms every bit as much as we do here....Maybe more-so this year with the storms they've had....And....we're happy to report John is a very nice guy. The C.O.'s Morning Briefing:
 
The Commanding Officer of a Regiment in the U. S. Marine Corps was about
to start the morning briefing to his Staff and Battalion and Company
Commanders. While waiting for the coffee machine to finish its brewing,
he decided to pose a question to all assembled. He explained that his
wife had been a bit frisky the night before and he failed to get his
usual amount of sound sleep. He posed the question of just how much of
sex was 'work' and how much of it was 'pleasure?'
 
 
The X.O. chimed in with 75-25% in favor of work. A Captain said it was
50-50%. The Colonel's Aide, a Lt., responded with 25-75% in favor of
pleasure, depending on his state of inebriation at the time. There being
no consensus, the Colonel turned to the PFC who was in charge of making
the coffee. What was HIS opinion?
 
 
With no hesitation, the young PFC responded, "Sir, it has to be 100%
pleasure."
 
The Colonel was surprised and, as you might guess, asked why?
 
"Well, Sir," began the PFC, "if there was any work involved, the
officers would have me doing it for them."
 
The room fell silent. God Bless the Marine Corps.

Bob & Tanya were married in Vitebsk on January 8! They sent us a photo of their Wedding which took place in Vitebsk. Bob & Tanya are about the nicest people on the planet....of course since January 8....they're just about the nicest Couple on the planet! Thanks for sharing with us guys....

It's Friday....It's Freezing....It's the middle of winter. So....What is there to do to get myself and my beautiful Russian Bride into the Summer-Thinking-Mode? Go to the Boat Show! Which is exactly what we did a few days ago. The Boat Show also answered that age-old question: How is it possible to spend $500,000 on a Toy? Answer: You need to get to the right Toy-Store. Did we spend $500,000, you ask? Of course not! But....We did have a Blast looking at all the cool Water-Toys! Put us into Summer-Thinking-Mode....If only for a few hours. A real Mood-Pikker-Upper! Here's a few shots:

So I turned to my beautiful Russian woman and asked her if we bought our Lotto-Tiks....

It's MLK Day today in the USA....Gives some folks a nice long weekend. Those are always nice!

On the American Football scene....How about those Playoffs! Nina and I hung around here....Stayed warm....And watched a couple real good games. Yes, my beautiful Russian bride actually enjoys watching Football. And....As embarrassing as this might be to me....She knows what's going on at times before I know what's going on....Penalty wise and so on. Was that an interference call?....Offensive or Defensive?....All I need do is ask Nina. This from my adorable Russian woman who, 7 years ago, never even heard of American football. Well....Congrats to you Giants and Patriots fans! The Super Bowl should be a good game. I'll have Nina here to explain to me....what's going on....

On the European Football scene....Our Across-The-Pond Bud Rob let us know City drew 1-1 against Westham....Sounds great to us Rob! BTW....You take care of yourself Rob....You need to hear those 46,000 people going crazzy at the stadium! ;-)

A reminder: Valentine's Day is fast approaching....We're now taking orders for Valentine's Day gifts for our ladies....

We hope you're having a good morning! We went up to the Portage Lakes last Saturday....Thought we would take a look and see what the lake looks like. You know...See some water....Birds....All that nice nature. Well....We forgot....It's January....And we live in Ohio....Here's a couple pics....

What we did see was lots of Ice....And a few Ice-Fishermen....As for Nature....We saw a Blue Heron patiently waiting next to an Ice-Fisherman....Waiting for a hand-out. Smart birds.
