We had one Hell of a T-Storm here last night at about 4:30 AM....Tornadic T-Storm in early February? Global warming? We'll have 19 degrees here on Sunday....So it's back to the Deep-Freeze for us....:-( A little Global warming in February brought a smile to our faces today....I can tell you that....
In our Across-The-Pond-Sports-Club, Arsenal beat City 3-1 at City on Saturday. Both Our good Buds Rob & Brett reporting....Both Arsenal and Manchester City are strong teams....That must have been one Damn fine Football Game!

"Mrs. Sanders, this is Doctor Jones at Saint Agnes Laboratory. When your doctor sent your husband's biopsy to the lab yesterday, a biopsy from another Mr. Sanders arrived as well, and we are now uncertain which one is your husband's. Frankly the results are either bad or terrible."
"What do you mean?" Mrs. Sanders asks nervously.
"Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer's and the other one tested positive for AIDS. We can't tell which is your husband's."
"That's dreadful! Can't you do the test again?" questioned Mrs. Sanders.
"Normally we can, but Medicare will only pay for these expensive tests one time".
"Well, what am I supposed to do now?"
"The people at Medicare recommend that you drop your husband off somewhere in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don't sleep with him."

Arsenal won 2-0 against Blackburn Rovers in the Monday night game. Arsenal increase their lead at the top of the league to 5 points, courtesy of one of the most sensational results of the season – Rob already told you - Man City won 2-1 at Man United, and not only that, it was a deserved victory too! I didn’t think it would take him long to tell you about it!!!
It didn't ;-) We figure Rob might have gone to his favorite Pub to celebrate a bit....Nina and I need to make a stop in England on our next trip to Vitebsk....We have a couple guys we need to get together with and do some Pub-Hopping. ;-0

THE GAY FLIGHT ATTENDANT
My flight was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone in a good mood as he served us food and drinks.
As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and told us that "Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he'll be landing the big scary plane shortly, so lovely people, if you could just put your trays up, that would be super."
On his trip back up the aisle, he noticed this well-dressed and rather Arabic looking woman hadn't moved a muscle.
"Perhaps you didn't hear me over those big brute engines but I asked you to raise your trazy-poo, so the main man can pitty-pat us on the ground."
She calmly turned her head and said, "In my country, I am called a Princess and I take orders from no one."
To which (I swear) the flight attendant replied, without missing a beat,
"Well, sweet-cheeks, in my country I'm called a Queen, so I outrank you.
Tray-up, Bitch."
We figure that will help put us in the mood for a Great weekend! ;-0

It's President's Day here in the USA....Happy President's Day! We hope everyone had a nice weekend! We had some warmer temps yesterday....Warm enough to melt the 2 inches of solid ice we had in our driveway. Back to snow today....

Anyway, I regret to inform you that Arsenal were knocked out of the cup this weekend, losing 4-0. There’s nothing more to say, so please move on to the next story!!!!!!!!!!
Alright, Alright then! Ok, it was very disappointing, probably the worst performance from Arsenal for a long time. I was under the impression we were beaten before we even got onto the pitch! Next match on Wednesday against AC Milan, a massive European tie.
I was telling Brett that we're used to that feeling here with our Cleveland Browns....
Rob told us that Manchester City had the week off....
Our member and good friend Steve took a trip to Hawaii last week with his Dad....Nice way to keep busy while you're waiting for your Marina to get here Steve! :-)
Steve and his Dad went to the Pro Bowl and caught a few rounds of Golf....And....
Hey Greg,
How's life in sunny Ohio? My Dad and I just returned from Hawaii. We went for a week and while we were there we went to the Pro Bowl in Honolulu, and also attended a tailgate party sponsored by the NFL. All you could eat, and drink (yes, alcohol was included!). We also went snorkeling, and laid out on the beautiful, sandy beach.
My Dad loves Golf, so we went to the LPGA SBS Open in Turtle Bay on the North Shore. My Dad was like a young kid. He obtained a lot of autographs while I took the photos of him and the good looking lady golfers.
We had a great time, and now it is back to work.
What a nice time!! Tailgate Party sponsored by the NFL! Very Nice! Here's a few photos....

Our Bud Dennis sent us those great photos of the Ferry Boat the other day....He also gave us a Heads-Up about the full eclipse of the Moon....Which put on a great show for us here last night. Dear Diary,
Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive
double pane energy-efficient kind. Then, this week I got a call from the
contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the work had been
completed a whole year ago and I still hadn't paid for them.
Now just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid.
So, I told him just what his fast talking Sales guy had told me last
year.... Namely, that in ONE YEAR these windows would pay for themselves!
Helllooooo? It's been a year!
There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally Just
hung up.
He didn't call back. Bet he felt dumb!
