We also have the Bridgestone Invitational....And The Pro-Football Hall Of Fame Week going on in our area....

You remember Chris & Natasha....They were married a few months ago and live in Oklahoma. Chris makes the most Beautiful Native American Indian Flutes we've ever seen!

I was looking at one of the pictures of the motorcycles, and it reminds me of the "running of the bulls" in Pomplona Spain. I just had to think.... They should try the sport..... "running with the motorcycles."
Natasha says her big hello! The skunk flute was requested by a friend and was meant to be a joke but it tuned really well and has a great voice..... The other, with the bear is from magnolia wood from my mother's tree after an ice storm a few years ago. The other was made for my sis. Western red cedar and detachable, simulated red tailed hawk feathers. The other is pine with western red cedar end cap, made for a recording artist friend..... I made a few more but can't locate the pics just now. I am finishing another skunk flute but it is mine. Trying to get back started making big bass flutes, either A or deeper. It has been over 7 years and I have forgotten much... :-( Enjoy,

We were at The Portage Lakes last weekend....The Firestone Country Club is only a half mile away from where we were. The Bridgestone Invitational was going on....The Goodyear Blimp and The MetLife Blimp were above the action taking the sky TV shots. Another Beautiful Morning here in Akron Ohio....And....Another joke from Bob....
BLIND MAN IN A BIKER BAR
A blind man wanders into an all girls biker bar by mistake.
He finds his way to a bar stool and orders some coffee.
After sitting there for awhile, he yells to the server, "Hey, you wanna hear a blond joke?"
The bar immediately falls absolutely silent. In a very deep, husky voice the woman next to him says,
"Before you tell that joke, sir, I think it is only fair -- given that you're blind -- that you should know five things:
1. The bartender is a blond girl with a baseball bat.
2. The bouncer is a blond girl.
3. I'm a 6 f oot tall, 175 lb. blond woman with a black belt in karate.
4. The woman sitting next to me is blond and a professional weightlifter.
5. The lady to your right is blond and a professional wrestler.
Now, think about it seriously, Mister. Do y ou still wanna tell that joke?"

We had an interesting day today....Had a large tree removed from our backyard. Interesting to watch pros do this type work....Especially since this tree was really over-hanging our roof. All went well....Interesting to see how these guys handled this situation. Not something we would want to try!
We do want to Welcome Les to the group! Les is a really nice guy....Great sense of humor....Les has an interesting career going....You know....We like a good sense of humor around here! Les lives in the Southeastern part of the USA....Doesn't have to put-up with our nasty winters! That should help put a nice smile on anyone! :-) We're looking forward to our working together Les! So....

Denis owns a fine dining restaurant....He has graduated from a famous Culinary Institute....Talk about an interesting career! Denis also happens to have a really cool sense of humor....You know by now we like that in our guys....So....

Hey! It's Friday! :-) Life is Great!
We had an interesting day yesterday....Had a real nasty storm roll-thru here....No damage in our area....But it did get....exciting....For a while....
We also met Stuart on the phone! Stuart and his wife Olga live in England....Stuart runs the RUA Forum....He wrote the book "Russian Bride Guide"....Which we understand is a very good read....And....Stuart's wife Olga runs the "Ladagirl" site! Busy people indeed! I'm one of those people who have said many times...."I would like to write a book." Never did that of course like most of us....Stuart is one of those rare people who actually did write a book!
Anyway....We invited Stuart and his wife Olga to visit us here in the USA anytime....We did however warn them not to visit Ohio during the winter months....Unless they would like to experience some serious Ohio-nasty-frozen-tundra-type-weather.
Hey Stuart & Olga....That invitation is open....If you guys can plan a summer trip that would be great! :-)

The Chief stared at the government official for over a minute and then calmly replied. 'When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex.'
Then the chief leaned back and smiled. 'Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.'
